Coronavirus Scams

Be aware of various Coronavirus scams.  Fraudsters are sending out Coronavirus themed phishing emails in an attempt to trick people into opening attachments or revealing personal information. Full details from Action Fraud here: Action Fraud - Coronavirus Scam

Locally, it has been reported there are scammers pretending to be from the Health Authorities and are going door to door carrying out mass testing for the Coronavirus. Please note there is NO mass testing and these fraudsters are just trying to get into homes. Please inform all elderly friends, neighbours and family members to be wary and not to let anyone they do not know into their home. Remember, if in doubt, keep them out.

I've also been asked to confirm the authenticity of the volunteering form from Greenwich Council. I can confirm this is legitimate and it is once again below. Also, you can sign up to Greenwich Council for regular updates on the Coronavirus.  Link also below.

Stay safe everyone.
