Janet and Robin Stott thank everyone involved with the Carol Singing on 23rd December. We found it to be a most enjoyable event. As well as thanking all the lusty singers and the young money collectors, whose rattling of the cans contributed to the £340 which the event raised for Shelter, our particular thanks go to Pepina and all at the Ashburnham Arms for their generous support of the event, to Barbara Reid for running the quiz, and to Dai Williams for roasting the chestnuts.
We will post on the website a copy of the letter of appreciation which we will assuredly receive from Shelter.
