Image
Hello everyone - a number of you participated in the ATA Christmas caroling activities which raise money each year for the Shelter charity. At the most recent of these events, £581 was raised by Carol Singing, the Quiz and a contribution made by the Ashburnham Arms. Below please find a copy of the note from Shelter in response to the ATA donation. A big thank-you to everyone who participated, and an open invitation to participate in these festivities later in 2026. The Self Space opens in Greenwich!

Image
The Self Space describes itself as a modern mental health service for everyday people, offering therapy and mental health support that’s as easy to access as a morning coffee. They recently opened a brand new space right here in Greenwich down on 13 Turnpin Lane, SE10 9JA and would love to become part of the fabric of the community. To make that happen, they have asked that the news be shared with the community. The Self Space offers in-person and online therapy, workplace mental health training, and community events. Their new Greenwich space is also a hub for the newly launched Family Therapy offering. If you’re curious (or just fancy a nose around), pop in, say hello, and see the space for yourself. And, if you're happy to pop up any posters or would like some postcards/flyers, please reach out to Adam Downing, Community Lead ( adam.downing@theselfspace.com ) and someone from his team will pop some in for you.
