I am pleased to announce that Caffe Papavero , located at Greenwich Railway Station, has joined the ATA Card scheme offering a 15% discount to cardholders! Making  coffees since 2017,  Caffe Papavero operates Bexley, Abbey Wood, Greenwich and Erith railway stations. They offer coffees, pastries and more - make your commute better and stop by!

For those familiar with the ATA Card scheme from years back, you'll remember Davy's Wine Shop as a longstanding participant in the ATA Card discount scheme. What you might not know is that recently, Davy's Vaults has also joined the scheme. What does this mean for ATA Card holders, you ask? You may have noticed on the ATA Card page that Greenwich Private Doctors has joined the ATA Card discount scheme. But, you may be asking... who are they? A recent addition to Greenwich High Road, Greenwich Private Doctors is a private general practice offering a wide range of medical services including consultations, dermatology, health screening, blood/allergy/sexual health tests and much more. If you're looking for medical services, do keep them in mind!

If you haven't and would like to receive a free card, and you live within the Ashburnham Triangle area , please email ATA Chair Peter Ferenz (petermferenz@gmail.com) with your address details. For the latest list of participating businesses and offers, please visit the ATA Card section of this site. Local businesses have been provided with images of the new ATA Card to share with their staff - if you encounter any issues, please let Peter know. And whenever new businesses join the scheme, you will receive an email from the ATA site. Efforts are under way to engage more businesses in the scheme. The Guildford Arms on Guildford Grove is re-opening on Saturday, November 23rd. There are new dining rooms and an open kitchen where you can see the chefs make their magic.  The bar is getting an overhaul as well for casual drinkers and diners and the garden has had a makeover as well. Chris Ward, Chair of the ATA, says: Well actually it’s our 2018 AGM. Now these are far from formal and stuffy. We aim to reflect the vibrancy and pace of our community. The Ashburnham Triangle community (as defined by the Council) is estimated to be around 3,000. That’s 3,000 lives living, working, playing in the area and the pace of change is rampant. New developments, new businesses, new attractions, new safety concerns, new opportunities. It’s our job to make sure you have your say in what goes on and voice any comments or concerns you have, as well as bringing us together as a community. Our AGM is the one point in the year when all the parts of the ATA get together and talk about plans for the future. So please, don’t write it off, come and join in, have your say. We have events to talk about, we have new initiatives to discuss, we have positions we’d like volunteers for, and we’d really like to hear from you. So come along, there is cake and wine - yes...
