The ATA fundraises for Shelter!

Hello everyone - a number of you participated in the ATA Christmas caroling activities which raise money each year for the Shelter charity. At the most recent of these events, £581 was raised by Carol Singing, the Quiz and a contribution made by the Ashburnham Arms.

Below please find a copy of the note from Shelter in response to the ATA donation. A big thank-you to everyone who participated, and an open invitation to participate in these festivities later in 2026.

To the Ashburnham Triangle Association from Shelter

Thank you for your kind donation of £581 and for supporting Shelter.

With your incredible gift, we can – and will – make a real difference.

Families experiencing homelessness face months if not years in unfit temporary accommodation, with little or no support. Many are uprooted from their communities, separated from loved ones, schools and essential support networks.

No family should face homelessness alone. But, they have you by their side, thanks to your generous donation.

Right now, we are working hard, doing everything possible to answer every urgent call for help. Because of you, families are getting vital advice when they need it the most.

Thank you for giving hope to people facing the housing emergency.

Thanks once again for your donation, and for joining us in defending the right to a safe home.
