Local discussion - planning application for Ashburnham Place: 5 November, 6:30pm, Ashburnham Arms

Hello everyone,

Please join us on Wednesday evening, 6:30pm in the back room of the Ashburnham Arms for a conversation with Chris Horn, client project lead, to present the revised application to build three houses to replace the garages on Ashburnham Place (opposite St. Marks Centre).

Originally submitted as a larger development to construct five houses, and with planning permissions refused, this is being brought back as a smaller scheme following advice from the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Hannah Cornett, the architect involved with the planning, will also be in attendance.

We look forward to seeing as many people as possible to discuss this significant building application within the Triangle. Do aim to arrive early to get your seat (and drinks). Snacks will be made available as well.

Hello everyone - as you know, plans have been submitted for the redevelopment of the Lewisham College Deptford Campus into a complex of hundreds of new flats. These plans have elicited resident concerns about the potential impact of such a significant development on both neighbourhood and skyline. On Wednesday 7 May, 7pm at the Ashburnham Arms, please join us for a discussion of the redevelopment project. 75 Ashburnham Grove - UPDATE & ACTION

The property is now being filled with vulnerable people housed through the Noble Tree Charity working with Luton Borough Council.   An updated management plan has been produced by the developer (Grosvenor House) and Noble Tree setting out how it will operate. The community has been invited to look at the document and feedback.   Peter Ferenz (a local resident) has kindly offered to collate community responses.
