CCTV and video doorbell register

A new initiative to improve the security and safety of our neighbourhood is being launched. 

The new register will be held on a secure database and will have details of the residents with CCTV or video doorbells. The purpose will be to assist police and council when they are investigating crimes. 

If you have CCTV or a video doorbell, it might be worth considering signing up. Please see the link below.

7 May, 7pm: meeting for residents to discuss Lewisham College redevelopment

Hello everyone - as you will have seen, plans have been submitted for the redevelopment of the Lewisham College Deptford Campus into a complex of hundreds of new flats. These plans have elicited a variety of responses, both positive from negative, from area residents in Greenwich and Lewisham who have concerns about the potential impact of such a significant development on both neighbourhood and skyline. On Wednesday 7 May, 7pm at the Ashburnham Arms, please join us for a discussion of the redevelopment project. Depending on the turnout (and weather), we may also use the adjoining Ashburnham Retreat space. Confirmed guest speakers include: Aidan Smith, Councillor, Greenwich Park Ward Raj Patel, Representative, Greenwich Society Mick Delap, Founder of the CreekLink charity Additional speakers have been approached.
