Park it in the Market, Greenwich Market’s celebration of vintage cars, bikes and rock’n’roll, is on again for Halloween!

From 7:30-10pm on Thursday 30st October, the Market will be packed with gleaming chrome and shiny antique paint jobs, all surrounded by jack-o’lanterns, bats, spiders’ webs and other seasonal décor. Plus, stallholders and exhibitors will transform themselves into vampires, werewolves, ‘Frankensteins’ and other creatures of the night.

Dress to impress (or distress!) and enter into the spooky spirit of this fabulous, free event.
Expect live music, DJs, vintage stalls and the Market’s famous world of street food options.

Hello everyone - as you know, plans have been submitted for the redevelopment of the Lewisham College Deptford Campus into a complex of hundreds of new flats. These plans have elicited resident concerns about the potential impact of such a significant development on both neighbourhood and skyline. On Wednesday 7 May, 7pm at the Ashburnham Arms, please join us for a discussion of the redevelopment project. The property is now being filled with vulnerable people housed through the Noble Tree Charity working with Luton Borough Council.   An updated management plan has been produced by the developer (Grosvenor House) and Noble Tree setting out how it will operate. The community has been invited to look at the document and feedback.   Peter Ferenz (a local resident) has kindly offered to collate community responses.
