Hello everyone - as you know, plans have been submitted for the redevelopment of the Lewisham College Deptford Campus into a complex of hundreds of new flats. These plans have elicited resident concerns about the potential impact of such a significant development on both neighbourhood and skyline. On Wednesday 7 May, 7pm at the Ashburnham Arms, please join us for a discussion of the redevelopment project. Confirmed guest speakers include: Aidan Smith, Councillor, Greenwich Park Ward Raj Patel, Representative, Greenwich Society Mick Delap, Founder of the CreekLink charity A few suggestions on the day: Our discussion will begin promptly at 7pm. The property is now being filled with vulnerable people housed through the Noble Tree Charity working with Luton Borough Council. An updated management plan has been produced by the developer (Grosvenor House) and Noble Tree setting out how it will operate. The community has been invited to look at the document and feedback. Peter Ferenz (a local resident) has kindly offered to collate community responses.
