Correction: next gardening date Sunday 12th

Image
The green hub will be out gardening on Sunday March 12th, 10 am-12 noon , not Saturday March 11th as previously advertised. They will meet at 75 Ashburnham Grove. Go through the garden gate to the right of the building to find them in the back garden. They also aim to make the front bed colourful for residents and passers-by. Everybody is welcome to take part - no need to know about gardening. There is a store of trowels etc. There will be tea and biscuits at about 11 am . Any queries, email Sara at sjemanuel21@gmail.com

ATA gardeners are emerging from the winter lull, and will be in action soon - at the planter in the play street, and in the front and back gardens of number 75 Ashburnham Grove, which houses residents with learning disabilities. One plan is to plant colourful flowers there in the long raised bed at the front, as requested by Cynthia, the manager. There are other corners of the Triangle to garden too. If you'd like to suggest any untended areas, contact Sara Emanuel at sjemanuel21@gmail.com or Janet Stott at janstott@dircon.co.uk Meanwhile the daffodils planted in previous Novembers are beginning to come up in four patches of the Triangle. The gardeners will be out from 10am to 12pm on the following dates, and would be glad to welcome anyone who'd like to join in. Come to 75 Ash Grove, through the garden gate to the right of the building. Saturdays 18th Feb, 11th March, 8th April, 29th April , 13th May , 3rd June , 24th June, 8th July
