Rubbish collection and recycling centre update

Royal Greenwich council has announced that from September 1st you will no longer need to book an appointment to visit the Re-use and Recycling centre in Nathan Way. However, to help maintain the safety of the site, it will close to be sanitised for 30 mins every day from 12 pm to 12.30pm. Do not attend at this time as there will be no access permitted and queuing is not allowed.

Opening hours are:

Monday to Friday: 8am to 12pm then 12.30pm to 6.30pm

Saturdays: 8am to 12pm then 12.00pm to 5pm

Sundays and bank holidays: 9am to 12pm then 12.30pm to 4.30pm

Access to the site is free for Royal Greenwich residents who show a valid driving license or Council Tax bill on arrival. It costs £10 if you’re a resident but cannot show either a valid driving license or Council Tax bill.

Also, our bin collections in the Triangle next week will be on Tuesday rather than Monday as those invaluable key workers our bin collectors are taking a well-deserved break for the Bank Holiday.
