ATA Card scheme participant 40 Cakes  is an artisan cake shop which was founded in 2019. All of their cakes are made from fresh ingredients with no artificial preservatives or additives. About the founders:  Renata, a music teacher, found a sweet side to life, delving into the world of cakes and patisserie. On the other hand, Gediminas continued his musical odyssey, becoming an opera sensation with performances in iconic venues like the Barbican Theater in London, Lincoln Center in New York, and more. His accolades include receiving Freedom from the city of RadviliÅ¡kis for promoting Lithuanian culture globally. In 2008, their paths converged as Lithuanian and British national anthems resonated at the London Lithuanian embassy’s 90-year Jubilee celebration, graced by luminaries like Margaret Thatcher and Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus. Made in Greenwich... have you been?

H ello everyone -  Made in Greenwich, located on Royal Hill, is an award-winning community shop and social enterprise selling the work of some 100 local artists and makers all based within the borough of Greenwich or its close environs. They are part of  GCDA , a not-for-profit organisation that has been helping create thriving communities both locally and further afield for four decades. Made in Greenwich offers free courses through the GCDA Learning programme, and some of these are held at the Royal Hill location. More information can be found here .
