Become a Community Champion: I f you are interested in participating in this RSPH course schedule for 26 & 28 May 2026, please review the link below for orientation and building awareness, and then complete the RSPH application form and forward to the Royal Greenwich Council Public Health Department, as indicated. The ATA fundraises for Shelter!

Hello everyone - a number of you participated in the ATA Christmas caroling activities which raise money each year for the Shelter charity. At the most recent of these events, £581 was raised by Carol Singing, the Quiz and a contribution made by the Ashburnham Arms. Below please find a copy of the note from Shelter in response to the ATA donation. Next local history group talk: 14 May, 7:30pm

Hello everyone - a  reminder that the next local history group talk will be on  Thursday 14 May at 7:30pm  in the lovely West Greenwich Library.  Many of you will know Mick Delap whose presentation is on the following theme: Who WAS who in West Greenwich? The why and the how of remembering local figures. And who is missing? From blue plaques to street names, and statues to schools, Mick will talk about who is remembered and how... and asking you, do you agree?    Mick will suggest, for the Ashburnham Triangle, the names of figures he feels have been left out of our own local story. There is, for instance, a great lack of women and non-establishment figures. Maybe you have a local name you would like to add to Mick’s list - if so, please tell us on the night! Mick hopes we can end the evening with a straw poll vote on who we would most like to see the Ashburnham Triangle remembering - perhaps as a first step to adding a new chap...
