Upcoming event: annual ATA plant swap, 3 May 2025

Hello everyone - a reminder that the next ATA Plant Swap event is scheduled to take place on Saturday 3 May 2025 in the Ashburnham Retreat (SE10 8TZ). The event will run 10:30am-12pm.

Please bring any unwanted plants and take away something new! Even if you have nothing to swap, do come along - there will be plenty of plants, and all are welcome to participate.

7 May, 7pm: meeting for residents to discuss Lewisham College redevelopment

Hello everyone - as you will have seen, plans have been submitted for the redevelopment of the Lewisham College Deptford Campus into a complex of hundreds of new flats. These plans have elicited a variety of responses, both positive from negative, from area residents in Greenwich and Lewisham who have concerns about the potential impact of such a significant development on both neighbourhood and skyline. On Wednesday 7 May, 7pm at the Ashburnham Arms, please join us for a discussion of the redevelopment project. Depending on the turnout (and weather), we may also use the adjoining Ashburnham Retreat space. Confirmed guest speakers include: Aidan Smith, Councillor, Greenwich Park Ward Raj Patel, Representative, Greenwich Society Mick Delap, Founder of the CreekLink charity Additional speakers have been approached. We look forward to seeing you on the evening for a productive discussion of planning and next steps.
