7 May, 7pm: meeting for residents to discuss Lewisham College redevelopment
Hello everyone - as you will have seen, plans have been submitted for the redevelopment of the Lewisham College Deptford Campus into a complex of hundreds of new flats. These plans have elicited a variety of responses, both positive from negative, from area residents in Greenwich and Lewisham who have concerns about the potential impact of such a significant development on both neighbourhood and skyline.
On Wednesday 7 May, 7pm at the Ashburnham Arms, please join us for a discussion of the redevelopment project. Depending on the turnout (and weather), we may also use the adjoining Ashburnham Retreat space.
Confirmed guest speakers include:
- Aidan Smith, Councillor, Greenwich Park Ward
- Raj Patel, Representative, Greenwich Society
- Mick Delap, Founder of the CreekLink charity
Additional speakers have been approached.
We look forward to seeing you on the evening for a productive discussion of planning and next steps.
