Thames Path improvements: have your say

Greenwich Council is reviewing how to improve the Thames Path, one of London’s most iconic riverside routes.
From accessibility and safety to new signage and green spaces, they want to hear from us. Our feedback will help shape future improvements, connecting communities and enhancing local tourism and leisure.

7 May, 7pm: meeting for residents to discuss Lewisham College redevelopment

Hello everyone - as you will have seen, plans have been submitted for the redevelopment of the Lewisham College Deptford Campus into a complex of hundreds of new flats. These plans have elicited a variety of responses, both positive from negative, from area residents in Greenwich and Lewisham who have concerns about the potential impact of such a significant development on both neighbourhood and skyline. On Wednesday 7 May, 7pm at the Ashburnham Arms, please join us for a discussion of the redevelopment project. Depending on the turnout (and weather), we may also use the adjoining Ashburnham Retreat space. Confirmed guest speakers include: Aidan Smith, Councillor, Greenwich Park Ward Raj Patel, Representative, Greenwich Society Mick Delap, Founder of the CreekLink charity Additional speakers have been approached. We look forward to seeing you on the evening for a productive discussion of planning and next steps.
