From Royal Greenwich Council:
There's no denying it, this Halloween is going to be very different to Halloweens we've had in the past. But, that doesn't mean we can't still have lots of fun!
Unfortunately trick or treating is not allowed this year - but there's a great alternative way to go on a spooky adventure. Rather than knock on people's doors (which would break social distancing rules), why not go on a pumpkin hunt instead? People in the area are bound to have pumpkins in their windows, so set off with the children you care for in groups of no more than six people in your bubble, and for every pumpkin you spot, you can give the little ones a treat!
Send the Council pictures of your Halloween celebrations, or tag them on social media @royal_greenwich and using the hashtag #GreenwichHalloween.
Find out here how to reuse your pumpkins and household items to make the spookiest night of the year even spookier...
