The Greenwich Council's Hills and Vales traffic scheme will place filters at several junctions to stop all through traffic except bicycles from using back streets around Royal Hill, with a further filter to be placed on Crooms Hill itself.
Filters will be placed on
- Crooms Hill at Stockwell Street/Burney Street
- Maidenstone Hill at Point Hill
- Point Hill at Royal Hill
- Hyde Vale at King George Street
- Royal Place at Royal Hill
In addition, Royal Hill will be made eastbound only between Greenwich South Street and Brand Street. The scheme will be reviewed after six months. (More details of the plans can be found on the Council's site here.)
