'We're hosting a community input meeting for local residents in the Ashburnham Triangle at
10 Devonshire Drive SE10 8LA (formerly Devonshire Drive Baptist Church).
'Plans are under way to start a new project at the property and the team leaders would very much value the input of the local community on how the building may be used by local residents and the community (ie mums and tots, café, facility hire, etc).
Tea, coffee and cake will be provided.'
I went to the meeting. Grace Baptist, a church association has taken over the church. A very nice couple are running it on their behalf and want it to be a community centre. They were seeking views of local people about what is needed.
